The Iowa Department of Public Health is developing a comprehensive health needs assessment. The goal is to come up with a statewide Health Improvement Plan to help Iowans live longer, healthier, more productive lives. The updated Healthy Iowans plan will be released in 2017.
Through February 29, Iowans are invited to recommend health issues needing priority attention at http://idph.iowa.gov/healthy-iowans.
