The transition of Iowa Medicaid to the IA Health Link managed care program will begin March 1, pending final federal approval.
In-person provider and member education sessions that provide updates on the transition and how Medicaid is changing will be offered throughout the state at these dates and locations:

The schedule for each day will be as follows:
- 9-11 AM – Iowa Medicaid Transition and Updates for providers
- 12:30-2 PM – Behavioral Health Policies and Procedures for providers
- 2:30-4 PM – Long Term Care and the Modernization Transition for providers
- 5-7 PM – Iowa Medicaid Transition Updates for members
